Research Paper: INTRODUCTION
RUBRIC

Please note that this is only a GENERAL method for scoring your papers.  I may take off (or give) points that are not elucidated in this rubric.  If you have questions, please talk to me. 

A.      TITLE PAGE:  (5 points) It must be centered, doubled-spaced, good title, and your names must be in alphabetical order.  I do NOT require page numbers OR the running head and headers shown in your book. (But, you can include them)

B.    INTRODUCTION: (35 points)

1)       Library Research (20 points): It must be clear that you researched your topic and that you understand what you are writing about.  

2)      Integration (5points): It must be clear that you have synthesized the materials you found
         while doing your research.  In other words, your introduction must flow and make sense.

 3)       Citations (5 points): You MUST cite all references accurately. Otherwise, you will be kicked
        out of  Harvard for PLAIGERISM!!!!

4)       Hypothesis (5 points): Again, you must incorporate all of your research into a “question”or a “prediction”. Based on your Internet and library research, what do you expect to find when you finally have collected your empirical data?

C.      REFERENCES: (10 points): Your references must match the citations in the body of your paper. Additionally, your reference page must be in APA style.
